the session that left me speechless
So, a few months ago I got a call from a grandma. She was interested in buying a gift certificate for her daughter, son-in-law and their little boy. She explained to me how her son-in-law had recently found out that he had cancer, and that they would like to get a family photo taken rather quickly, before Scott lost his hair from treatments. I mailed out the gift certificate really hoping that I would be able to get them in soon. Then, one day a couple of weeks later as I was reading the paper I noticed Scott’s obituary. We never had time to do the family photos.
I was so glad when Lanessa called me a couple of weeks later and still wanted to schedule something for her and little “L”. What an amazing thing to be able to do during such a painful time. Thank you Lanessa for sharing Scott’s story with me and letting me capture a little bit of your special relationship with your sweet adorable little boy.

A few of him in the little corduroy sport coat his daddy had bought him…
