Meet sweet baby Fiona.

This little guy was so excited to meet his mommy and daddy, he decided to surprise them with his arrival 6 weeks early. And he sure was happy about it too. I’ve never seen a more smiley baby!

And what a cool little dude he was. Ryder was 12-days-old on the day of his session and performed like a champ!

These photos don’t really do it justice, but mom and dad ordered the most awesome 24×36 canvas gallery wrap of their two little loves and it looks amazing!

Here she is!

She was such a calm cooperative baby that we got to try tons of fun poses with her!

Mom spent some time on Etsy collecting fun things for her little girl’s first photoshoot. So many cute things!

She told us before the session what a good baby he was and after a few poses we had to stop and ask, “Really, is he ALWAYS this good?” Yep… he is.

Baby Tripp was so sweet, so tiny, and so loved.

And to sweet baby Ava; it was so nice to finally meet you. You are one lucky little lady!

What an amazing feeling to finally have that baby in your arms.

On some on newborn posts I talk about how the baby slept so great through the whole photo session and everything was so easy… well this is not one of those posts. (You don’t always want to hear about the things that go right do you?) Cash was not a fan of his first photoshoot. At all. He had a difficult time settling down and pretty much screamed the whole time despite all of our efforts to make him comfortable. We even discussed reshooting the next day, but he must have heard us talking and decided to be a bit too fussy for a session that day too. Poor guy… I sure hope we didn’t torture him too much. Here are some of the ones we did manage to get!

decided that she liked it sooooooooooo much, she was going to stay put. She stayed there for two whole weeks past her due date; until she was good and ready to come out…all rolly polly and sweet as ever.

So happy you are finally here baby Payton! Clearly you were practicing your smiles while you were waiting to be born. That’s no “newborn-gassy-smile”… that’s the REAL DEAL.

And the little guy that was all tucked away inside of her was just the cutest little peanut. He was so sleepy during his newborn session that I think we could have done just about anything with him!

It turns out… he actually was! He was even named hottest bachelor for North Dakota in Cosmo magazine in 2000. He will die when he finds out I posted this photo, but not to worry, I cleared it with his wife first. Sorry Scott… I couldn’t resist!

Little “G” is following in his daddy’s footsteps, and was the perfect model for his very first photoshoot!
