photos as art ~ [fargo photography]

May 3rd, 2012 , Posted in decorating

It’s time for another installment of “photos as art” on the bloggie today. This time I got to venture out to the lovely, amazingly beautiful home of little Cash. I even got a little tour of their new home… did I mention it was amazing? Anyway… I was really there to snap some photos of the canvas wall groupings decorating their home. What a fun way to personalize their new space. Thanks for having me out Cash! Your photos look adorable on the wall.

Exciting news for this family… they will be weloming baby number two this fall… so we will have to find some more wall space! Somehow I don’t think that will be a problem. ;)

tommy is one! ~ [fargo baby photographer]

Sweet little Tommy came in for some photos to celebrate turning one-year-old! He was totally adorable with plenty of smiles for the camera. I photographed his big sister a couple of years ago for her first birthday so it was so fun to have this family return with their little guy.

two girlies ~ [newborn photographer]

May 1st, 2012 , Posted in maternity, newborns, siblings

One of my favorite families came back in for a combo maternity/newborn session because they were expecting baby #2 this spring. I’ve been photographing two-year-old Lucie since she was a newborn and was so excited to be able to photograph the family’s anticipation as they anxiously awaited the newest little member of their family.

But little Coco had other plans when it came time for her photos … she thought her first photoshoot would be MUCH more fun if she was awake for the entire thing. fargo newborn photographer

But we decided to order lunch and wait her out and finally… FINALLY she gave in and slept like a rock star.

happy monday? ~ [nd photographer]

April 30th, 2012 , Posted in life

Is there such a thing as a “happy Monday?” Not really sure about that one… but I am back at the studio working hard to get caught up on all the things I missed while I was away. I just thought I’d pop in and say hi and give you a little glimpse at our quick getaway last week. We traveled to Boca Raton, Florida and stayed at a heavenly resort called the Boca Beach Club. Our room was right on the pool deck and overlooked the ocean… we were totally spoiled. My husband was there for work, so my daughter and I spent most of our time sitting on the beach or by the pool. Here are just a few of the shots I took while we were there.

Alright… enough daydreaming about sand and sun; I must get back to work!

so much love ~ [fm area newborn photographer]

This awesome, fun, and adorable family welcomed their third child a few weeks ago and you can just see how much love there is surrounding her. She is going to have the best big brother and sister!

Little Vera was one of the more challenging newborns we’ve had lately… she was just WIDE awake the whole time. So we did manage to get a few sleeping baby poses, but she was really much happier to just keep her eyes open and check out everything that was going on around her. This is one of my favorite shots from the day… so alert and SO SO beautiful.

On another note… this will be my only post for this week because tomorrow morning my hubby and oldest daugther and I will be heading out for some fun, sun, and relaxation in Florida. See you all next week!
