Family sessions with Ria are very non-traditional in the sense that she does not want to have you all dressed in matching dress clothes and posed, smiling at the camera. Ria prefers to observe the family interacting with each other and thereby captures the unique connections that make your family special. It is really best if you just act as if she isn’t even there!

As for clothing suggestions, Ria recommends that you keep the choices similar in style and tone, without being “matchy.”  When you make an appointment with Ria, you will also receive a welcome packet with more information about clothing recommendations. Almost all of Ria’s family sessions will be shot outdoors on location and therefore are best scheduled during the late spring, summer, and fall. Book early(3-4 months) for best availablility.

Cost for a family session is $325, and includes family as well as sibling group shots, individual editing of your photos and publishing them to your private online gallery, and a $100 print credit.
