Our bedroom has not been touched since we painted it when we moved in 9 years ago so it was time for a little freshening up. Lately I’ve been finding myself drawn to a much more minimalist aesthetic … trending toward vintage, modern, industrial and mid-century. For the last couple of years we have wanted to do a white-painted brick wall in our room, but finances (and overall handy-ness!) just didn’t allow it at this time so for now I had to settle with this brick wall paper from Milton + King. Almost as good as the real thing… until we can get it! The gorgeous bed was built for us by a friend and talented furniture builder from my home town. It goes perfectly with the mid-century side table from West Elm I’ve had for a couple years just waiting to come out of the box. The other side table was made by my sweet boy Coop in his shop class at Moorhead High. How cool is that? My favorite thing in the room is the wall fixture I found at Peared Creation. I think it really just pulls the look together. What do you think?
Hope says: Way to go! Awesome as always! 2016-05-18 06:08:08

I think the photos of these four brothers would be so perfect for an album cover… they are the cutest little boy band ever! These guys have been behind my camera before and earlier this year they stopped up again to help their littlest brother celebrate his first birthday!
