BITTERSWEET

I always thing the season of graduation is so bittersweet for parents. It is so exciting to see the people your littles have grown into, and the excitement you have FOR them to go out there and get to experiencing everything waiting for them is indescribable. But, the anticipation of a quieter house and the struggles they will surely encounter as they learn life's lessons is a tough one. I'm in that exact stage right now with my own family and I will just tell you... CHANGE IS HARD. But we can do hard things and there are always, ALWAYS good things waiting ahead. The mama of this great kid will be facing an empty nest next year and I will be thinking of her as she navigates this "new normal"!
